REVIEWS FOR LAKEPOINT MOTEL

This is one of my favourite motels. I travel throughout NZ all the time - rooms at Lake Point are always immaculate... no room the same... yay. I do 120 nights a year in motels. In one direction town is walkable to good food and bars. In the other direction the Lake. Always look for the backstreet gems... this is one of them.

We have now booked for our fourth stay here. Amazing reception, and nice big clean rooms. Close to town and to the university/Wintec. Nice and close to the lake for a lovely walk. Works for us everytime.

Hi Russell and partner - thank you very much for the excellent stay we had at your motel. We enjoyed it - really did not want to go home - also may I add a big thank you to you both for organising another nights stay owing to not getting my operation done at the hospital - it did not seem any trouble to you to organise. To anyone wanting to go to the hospital in Hamilton this motel is so close and very easy to get to if you're wanting accommodation. Thanks also to the cleaning ladies we met while we were there. Thanks again Russell - we will be back to see you again.

Large motel units that make this motel perfect for our group stay. We have now stayed here over several years and staff are so helpful and accommodating of our group requirements. Motel units are large and spacious, with a spa bath and numerous units with wheelchair accessible bathrooms. Standard motel kitchen with everything required for a weekend stay. Really comfortable beds and free wifi. Would definitely recommend this motel for a short stay.

We were in Unit 10, a huge room with large corner spa bath. Despite being on a relatively busy road traffic noise was never a problem. The two nights we were there were booked out and parking was very tight. Bed was one of the most comfortable I've slept on. The free Wifi was relatively fast. It was great having full Sky TV access instead of a handful of selected channels or Freeview. Plenty of hot water for the spa bath. I've never experienced a shower with that much water pressure it stung when on full. Friendly and very helpful staff. Close to Waikato District Hospital, the reason we were in Hamilton. This will be our accommodation of choice for future Hamilton visits. If you're looking for roomy, comfortable , value for money accommodation you can't go past Lake Point.
